Overview
What's involved
Good pruning is invisible. It reduces risk, restores light and clearance, and leaves the tree healthier and better structured than it was before — without the stubs, tears and topping cuts that cause decay and regrowth problems.
We prune to recognised arboricultural standards for homeowners, body corporates, schools, councils and commercial property managers, from single street trees to full maintenance cycles.
Benefits
- Crown thinning, crown lifting, reduction and deadwooding done correctly
- Building, driveway, footpath and sightline clearance
- Storm-risk reduction on mature and over-extended trees
- Never topped — pruning that protects long-term tree health
- Species-appropriate timing advice from qualified arborists
- Scheduled maintenance cycles available for commercial portfolios

Process
How we approach the work
- 01
Objective and species assessment
We confirm what you need — light, clearance, risk reduction or shape — and check the species tolerance and best pruning window.
- 02
Access and rigging plan
Climbing or elevated work platform access is planned, with protection for gardens, roofs, glazing and services below.
- 03
Precision pruning
Cuts are made at the correct points to natural targets, removing no more live crown than necessary to meet the objective.
- 04
Review and clean-up
We review the finished form with you from the ground, then chip and remove all material.
Safety first
Aerial rescue-capable crews, documented risk assessments, and full compliance with minimum approach distances around overhead lines.
Clean-up promise
Prunings are chipped and removed the same day, gardens are checked for debris, and paths and drives are blown down.
Commercial capability
Body corporates, councils and facilities managers can arrange cyclical pruning programmes through our commercial arborist services.
